Nice course with some interesting, and fun holes. Greens fast, and tricky to read. Definitely worth playing. Enjoyed it so much the first time, I went back for more. Staff in the pro shop very friendly, and helpful.

Palheiras is a lovely course, plenty of elevation changes and interesting holes. Take buggy if you are not super fit! Also great views of Funchal, sea and surrounding area. Clubhouse has a nice relaxed vibes, good food (reasonable prices) and great, helpful staff. Not that easy to get to, roads steep and twisty. Well worth a visit.
